Ronald Reagan Parkway To Get $3.2 Million Upgrade
The project will be largely funded by a federal grant.

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — One of Gwinnett's busiest east-west corridors is getting a major upgrade.
County commissioners on Tuesday approved a $3.2 million resurfacing contract for Ronald Reagan Parkway. A federal grant, from the Atlanta Regional Commission and administered by the Georgia Department of Transporation, will pay 80 percent of the cost of the project.
"The parkway serves an important cross-county travel need," said District 2 Commissioner Lynette Howard. "We are very grateful to the GDOT for the funding assistance."
