Third Pedestrian Dies From Injuries In Woodstock Accident
The third victim in a pedestrian collision that killed a Hurricane Irma evacuee and her baby has died. Kathy Deming, 61, of Marietta, died Tuesday, Sept. 19, nearly two weeks after she was hospitalized following the accident, the Cherokee Sheriff's Office confirmed to Patch. Florida evacuees Kaitlin Hunt, 28, and her 3-month-old baby girl, Riley, died when they were hit by a Jeep Patriot driven by 17-year-old Zoe Reardon of Atlanta.

LSU Fraternity Loses Charter After Roswell Native's Death
A Louisiana State University fraternity's charter has been revoked just days after a Roswell pledge died in what police call a case of possible hazing. Phi Delta Theta General Headquarters said Monday that it has revoked the charter from its Louisiana Beta Chapter at LSU. The move comes four days after 18-year-old Maxwell Gruver died after he was taken to a hospital from the fraternity's house early Thursday morning.
Georgia Tech Shooting: GoFundMe Started To Pay For Police Car Burned In Protest
A Georgia Tech student has created a GoFundMe page to pay for the police cruiser that was burned up during Monday night's violent protests on campus. Phillip Yamin, an electrical engineering major and the president of the university's Marksmanship Club, started the GoFundMe to collect money toward paying for two Georgia Tech police cruisers damaged in the protests.

Gwinnett Woman Killed Stepfather, Claimed Suicide: Police
A Gwinnett County woman is charged with murder after police say she shot and killed her stepfather then attempted to make it look like a suicide. Sandra Christine Olver, 54, of Lilburn, was arrested on Friday for the murder of Thomas Hall Gaines, Lilburn Police announced Tuesday.
