Loganville Has A New Skyline

New water tank expected to be providing water to the community by mid December.

has a new skyline with the city’s emblem also now prominently displayed above the trees in the Gwinnett side of the city. The second water tower - located behind the Fire Station on Old Loganville Road and Faith’s Crossing shopping center - has been painted, the logo has been added and the tank is currently being tested. According to officials, it should be ready to begin providing water to the community by mid December.

The new tank will have a 750,000-gallon capacity to supplement the old 400,000-gallon tank located in the Walton County side of the city. It was built with funds from the 2008 Gwinnett County Local Option Sales Tax. The land the tank stands on was acquired through a land swap deal with .  The city gave Diversified an irrevocable easement in exchange for the property.
