Lowest Gas Prices in Loganville and Grayson
Gas prices continued to rise at the beginning of the week but began to drop off by Sunday. However, they are still up from last week.

In the last week, gas prices in both and continued to rise, but not at the same rate as the previous week, indicating the drop in crude oil prices may finally be flowing through to the pump.
By mid-week, the price was up by an average of about 8 cents a gallon, but by Sunday was only up by an average of 5 cents a gallon over last week. Analysts are predicting the price will continue to drop, possibly to an average nationwide of $3.50 cents a gallon. Several reasons are given for the drop in crude prices last week by almost 15 percent, the most common being the strengthening of the dollar.
CnnMoney has a map that gives the average price per gallon for the whole country as well as a corresponding map that gives the average percentage of income spent on gas. Georgians, on average, spend about 10.33 percent of their income on gas.
