Police: Robbery Was Motive in Gwinnett Apartment Killing

Gwinnett County Police have arrested a Douglasville man in Friday’s deadly shooting at a Buford-area apartment.

Keenan Morey Robinson, 26, is charged with murdering Marquez Glover, 27, late Friday afternoon in the apartment located at 2606 Hartford Run in Buford, police said in a Sunday morning email. Robbery was the likely motive.

Robinson, who is listed as a Douglasville resident in jail records, also is charged with armed robbery and is being held without bond in the Gwinnett County jail. He was arrested Saturday.

Glover was a resident of the apartment.

Robinson was identified as a suspect early in the investigation, police said.

Police said Glover was found with multiple gunshot wounds after officers responded to a 911 call at 4:43 p.m. Friday. His body was found just inside the residence, police said.

No other details were released.
