Sheriff's Calls: 3 Injured in Wreck, Fence Damages, Neighbor Dispute

WALTON COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

CRIME AWARENESS/COMMUNITY INFORMATION ALERT

Activity date: January 16, 2015 – January 19, 2015

Zone 1
Damage to Property – 40-50 fence tops were reportedly removed from a fence and damaged at a residence on Jersey Social Circle Rd. Two juvenile subjects were spotted causing damage to the fence. Walton County Deputies spoke with both subjects and both were charged with Criminal Trespass.

Safety Check – Walton County Deputies conducted a safety check at Canon Farm Rd. and Ashland Farm Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.

Zone 2
Fraud Report – A fraud report was made at a residence on Jersey Social Circle Rd. Debit card was reportedly taken and used to make a purchase.

Burglary Report – A burglary was reported at a residence on Nicole Ct. Several items were reportedly stolen.

Zone 3
Alarm – Walton County Deputies responded to an alarm at Harmony Elementary School. Key holder notified.

Zone 4
Extra Patrol – Extra patrol was requested in the area of John Stowe Rd and Daniel Cemetery Rd. in reference to loud parties in this area.

Dispute – A dispute occurred in the area of Michael Rd. Neighbors were disputing over property damage and trespassing. Criminal Trespass warnings were issued.

Safety Check – Walton County Deputies conducted a safety check on Mt. Vernon Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.

Zone 5
Entering Auto – An entering auto report was made at a residence on Brooks Trail. An iPhone and flashlight were taken.

Extra Patrol – Extra patrol was requested in Alcovy Bluff Subdivision in reference to entering autos in the area.

Theft Report - Subject reported several items stolen out of the toolbox in the bed of his truck at a residence on Friendship Church Rd.

Theft Report – Subject reported several items taken from secured storage unit at Between Mini Storage on Hwy 78. Incident occurred sometime between 07/15/14 and 01/12/15.

Recovered Property – Stolen property was recovered in the area of Roscoe Davis Rd.
Property was inventoried and released to owner.

Zone 6
Theft Report – A Kel-tec 9mm pistol was reportedly taken from a residence on Nora Ct.

Burglary Report – A burglary report was made at A&A storage on Hwy 81. A maroon and silver, Ford Dually, occupied by two males and two females, were reportedly going to the storage units trying to unlock the locks. Two storage units were found opened.

Zone 7
Arrest – Shawn Blocher was arrested for DUI in the area of Hwy 138 and Cannon Farm Rd. following a hit & run accident out of Oconee County.

Burglary Report - A burglary was reported at a residence on Amber Way. Two flat screen TVs and a gun were taken.

Arrest – James Nutt was arrested for burglary in the area of New Horizon Dr.

Accident – A single vehicle rollover accident occurred in the area of Hwy 138 and Pirklefield Dr. Three injuries reported. Injured parties were transported to Clearview.
