CRIME AWARENESS/COMMUNITY INFORMATION ALERT

Activity date: April 6, 2015

Zone 1
Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Hwy 138. Residence checked. Everything okay.

Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Jersey Walnut Grove Rd. Residence checked. Everything okay.

Zone 2
Nothing reported.

Zone 3
Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a business on Hwy 78. Business checked. Everything okay.

Suspicious Person – A passerby reportedly saw a subject walking on Hwy 83 who had reportedly been involved in an accident. Contact made with subject. Vehicle was located on Church St. in the City of Monroe.

Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Old Monroe Madison Hwy. Residence checked. Everything okay.

Zone 4
Theft Report – A homeowner stated an unidentified black, bald headed male in a white t-shirt driving gold, Volkswagen reportedly stole a push mower and weed eater from a residence on James Huff Rd.

Suspicious Vehicle – An unknown vehicle reported pulled into a driveway of a residence on Bradley Gin Rd. No contact with the vehicle.

Zone 5
Accident – An accident occurred in the area of Hwy 11 and Friendship Church Rd. Accident scene turned over to Georgia State Patrol.

Suspicious Person – Someone was reportedly banging on the back door and ringing the doorbell of a residence on Clairmont Court. Area checked. No contact was made.

Zone 6
Information – Newton County informed Walton County that a white male driving a white, Honda Civic fled on foot on Hwy 81 and Hwy 142. The subject had reportedly come from the area of Walnut Grove.

Zone 7
Theft Report – Four copper light fixtures were reportedly stolen from the front yard and a package was reportedly stolen from the front porch of a residence on Monroe Dr. This occurred sometime over the weekend.

Accident – A private property accident occurred on Wagon Trail.
