Video Shows Last Seconds Of Crazy Police Chase
John Christopher Calhoun was wanted for stealing vehicles and kidnapping an 81-year-old woman.
LOGANVILLE, GA — Video from a Walton County deputy's dash camera shows the crazy last few seconds of the chase of a kidnapping suspect on Monday.
John Christopher Calhoun, 29, was wanted for a crime spree during which authorities say he kidnapped an 81-year old woman and stuffed her in his trunk, beat a construction worker and stole multiple vehicles in Walton and Barrow counties.
After being identified as a suspect on Sunday, Calhoun was located at an address in Walton County on Monday.

They found him near that address, driving a stolen pickup truck.
He then led authorities on a high-speed chase for the second time — after having successfully escaped from a chase into Barrow County on Sunday.

During Monday's chase, Walton County deputies say Calhoun hit speeds of up to 90 m.p.h. on small, country roads near Monroe. Eventually, he swerved off of the road, through the parking lot of the Walton County Fire Department and onto a dead-end residential street.
He gets bumped by a deputy's car, swerves off the road and stops — immediately surrendering to officer who approach him with handguns.
In all, the chase lasted about 20 minutes.
"If you ever doubted the commitment of the Walton County Sheriff's Office Deputies to keep the community safe, this few second video ... should eliminate those doubts," the sheriff's office wrote in a Facebook post.
