Weather Update: How Much Snow Will Fall on Loganville-Grayson, and When?
A Winter Storm Warning is in effect until 11 a.m. Thursday.

The Loganville and Grayson areas could get up to 3 inches of snow in Wednesday’s winter storm, according to the National Weather Service in Peachtree City.

The weather service forecasts the area will get 1 to 3 inches of snow, but the area is located on the edge of an area to the north that could see much more of the white stuff. (see attached forecast map above). Some places in the area could get more if the storm tracks more southerly.
Rain and snow will begin after 3 p.m. Wednesday, the weather service said, dropping less than an inch before nightfall. Another 1-3 inches could fall overnight.

Detailed forecast for the area from the National Weather Service:
Wednesday: Rain likely before 3pm, then rain and snow. High near 39. Calm wind becoming east around 5 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
Wednesday night: Rain and snow before 2am, then a chance of snow. The snow could be heavy at times. Patchy fog. Low around 30. East wind around 5 mph becoming north after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
Thursday: Patchy fog before 9am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 44. North wind around 5 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon.
