• Byron's first skatepark on track to open by end of August (13wmaz.com) — Byron’s first skatepark is set to open by the end of August at the old Byron Elementary School site near the municipal complex, with final concrete work scheduled next week. Funded by a federal grant, the park aims to give local families a nearby recreation option and attract travelers, with future plans for pickleball courts and bathrooms if additional grants come through.
