• Macon Milledgeville Regional Habitat for Humanity plans to build new homes on headquarters' parking lot (13wmaz.com) — New Habitat for Humanity homes are planned right on the nonprofit's Holt Avenue headquarters parking lot in Macon's Napier Heights neighborhood, with applications already open. After a recent rezoning approval, the two houses will help Habitat move toward its goal of 20 new homes by 2027, continuing a broader push to revitalize this long-disinvested area. 
• Piedmont Macon marks five years with Piedmont Healthcare (wpganews.com) — Piedmont Macon is celebrating five years with Piedmont Healthcare and highlighting big gains for local patients, including more primary care offices, urgent care centers, and specialist practices across Middle Georgia. New CT and MRI scanners and a hybrid operating room now let more residents get advanced procedures in Macon instead of traveling to Atlanta, with further expansion planned toward Houston County.
