• Macon bus driver praised as hero after helping children found alone along route (11alive.com) — A Macon-Bibb County Transit Authority bus driver is being hailed as a hero after twice stopping his route to protect toddlers he found alone near the road, including one on Vineville Avenue. Veteran driver Omari Frederick brought the children onto his bus, blocked traffic when needed, and waited for help, saying he simply acted as he'd hope others would for his own family.
