The federal lawsuit seeks court protections against future arrests plus compensation and attorneys' fees, after charges tied to their abortion-protest preaching were dismissed.
   

2. Deputies: Man arrives at hospital with graze wound after Pio Nono Avenue assault (41nbc.com) — Bibb County deputies are investigating an aggravated assault on Pio Nono Avenue in Macon after a 20‑year‑old man showed up at a local hospital with a graze wound but in stable condition. Investigators are still piecing together what happened and are asking anyone with information to contact the sheriff's office or Macon Regional Crimestoppers.
   

3. Grand Forks Air Force Base Runaway Fully Operational Again (knoxradio.com) — Runway repairs at Grand Forks Air Force Base in North Dakota are complete, meaning RQ‑4 Global Hawk aircraft that were temporarily operating from Robins Air Force Base near Macon can soon return. While the work was done far from Georgia, it briefly tied high‑tech unmanned aircraft operations to the Macon area.
   

4. Terrence Edwards, Brian Snitker among Georgia Sports Hall of Fame's 2027 class (41nbc.com) — Macon will host the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame's 2027 induction weekend, bringing ten standout athletes and coaches from across the state to town February 19–20.
