74-Year-Old Woman Killed In Cobb DUI Crash
The crash happened at 9:27 p.m. Sunday on Roswell Road near Robinson Road, according to Cobb County Police.

MARIETTA, GA — A Marietta woman is charged with DUI in a Roswell Road crash Sunday night that killed a 74-year-old woman.
Cobb County Police say a 15 year old from Marietta was driving east on Roswell Road near Robinson Road at about 9:27 p.m. on Sunday. He had four other family members with him in a 2012 Toyota Camry, police said.
As he was driving, Tracy Latronica, 37, of Marietta tried to turn left onto Robinson Road from the westbound lane, crossing into the Toyota's path, according to police. Her Ford Explorer collided with the Camry at the intersection.

All five people in the Toyota were taken to WellStar Kennestone Hospital. There, Begum Fazilatunnesa, 74, of Marietta, died from her injuries, police said.

The other occupants of the car, including the driver, were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Latronica did not require medical attention, police said. She was arrested and charged with first-degree vehicular homicide, driving under the influence, failure to yield and serious injury by vehicle.
