Civil War re-enactors will camp out on the Marietta Square. There will be a Civil War Festival on the Square from 10am-9pm which will include Kids’ Activities from 12-5pm with a Fire Dept. Edition of “Touch-A-Truck” and various other games.
Come early and stay all day to be a part of the epic “Burning, Battle, & Triumphant Rebirth” of our great City at 8pm. The program will include a live battle skirmish, the recreation of the Burning of the Square by General Sherman, followed by the rebirth of the City featuring pictures submitted by the public.
Bring a chair or a blanket and arrive early to get a spot on the Square for all the festivities
