CareSource to Host Atlanta Career and Development Fair on 9/18

13 Top Companies and Governmental Agencies to Join CareSource for Development Workshops on Resume Writing, Job Interviewing and More

ATLANTA (September 13, 2018) – CareSource, Georgia’s first and only nonprofit organization serving the Medicaid market, is partnering with Chattahoochee Technical College to host a career and development fair on Tuesday, September 18 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The event will take place at Chattahoochee Technical College, 980 South Cobb Drive, Marietta, GA 30060.

In addition to interviewing with top Atlanta area companies and governmental agencies to explore local employment opportunities, attendees can attend valuable development workshops on job searching, resume writing and review, tips for a successful job interview, and more.

CareSource offers an innovative Life Services program, which is unique to Georgia, and is based on a successful model that CareSource has developed and perfected over the past three decades. JobConnect, a part of the Life Services program, teaches marketable skills and offers job training to its members.

“CareSource works closely with our community partners to help our members remove the obstacles to their success, and it begins with finding reliable, quality employment,” said Bobby Jones, president of the Georgia Market for CareSource. “We have worked closely with Chattahoochee Technical College on several successful partnerships. CareSource is deeply committed to working closely with top Atlanta companies and governmental agencies to help our members on a path to self-sustainability.”

The event will be attended by 13 leading Atlanta companies, including Cobb County School District, DenverWorks, Fastenal, FedEx Ground, Indiana Wesleyan University, Marriott and more.

This CareSource Career and Development Fair is free and open to the public. To attend, you must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or GED. Attendees are encouraged to bring several copies of a resume and should be prepared to spend two hours at the event.
