In September 2014, the Cobb County Water System partnered with the Edinborough Senior Community, in Marietta, to install nearly 200 water-saving Stealth® Systems from Niagara Conservation® throughout the property. Within a month, the property was able to save 192,000 gallons and $1,860.

“We are committed to saving water, energy and helping our customers to reduce their utility bills through sustainable practices, and we believe the Green City program provides the ideal win-win solution for our local multi-family building owners and all of the partners who have helped to bring this program to life,” noted Kathy Nguyen, Cobb County Water System, senior project manager. “The water savings experienced by the Edinborough community showcases to local multi-family operators that this small change to high-efficiency fixtures can have a big impact.”

The Edinborough Senior Community was retrofitted with Niagara Conservation’s Stealth® System by an accredited Green Plumber, Nick Marine of Marine Plumbing. During the event, Marine was presented with the Green Plumber of the Year award by Jonathan Cruz, executive vice president, with the Green Plumbers USA. Marine received the award for being a leader in green plumbing practices and to honor him for his work as the lead plumbing contractor in the Green City Cobb Program.
