Cobb EMC Reveals New Logo

On Tuesday, unveiled a new logo to employees and members who attended the Board of Directors' first town hall meeting. 

The new logo represents a new day for Cobb EMC as the electric cooperative moves forward to serve its 175,000 members.

At the end of 2011, President and Chief Executive Officer Chip Nelson announced that the company would adopt a new logo. That process has been underway for the past few months. 

"This fresh, new look for Cobb EMC will help us move into the future," said Nelson. 

During the Tuesday meeting, temporary banners replaced the former logo on the two monument signs at the corporate office. The new logo will be phased into use on all corporate signs, trucks, clothing, literature, stationery and print media.
