Neighbor News

Dolly Becks took a walk on the wild side!

Now that her adventure is over, she is looking for her forever home.

Facebook followers may recall reading about Dolly’s Big Adventure. The good news is she made it back to Furkids safe and sound and with a new appreciation for domesticity! Dolly never intended to be gone for so long. She’s a playful and energetic girl and when the opportunity for adventure presented itself she just couldn’t resist! But the wilderness isn’t all it’s cracked up to be -- no treats, no bellyrubs, no car rides, and Dolly loves car rides! She describes her car ride out of the Mall of Georgia wilderness and home with our shelter manager as “THE VERY BEST CAR RIDE OF MY LIFE … SO FAR!” Dolly thinks her next VERY best car ride (home with you) is coming right up! Dolly assures us that her little escapade has convinced her that she is indeed ready to settle down in her forever home. If you would like Dolly to settle in with you please keep in mind that she is a herding dog and is happiest with a task to perform, a game to play or a trick to learn. Challenge her physically and mentally and she will be your best friend! Dolly plays well with dogs of similar size or smaller and loves her human family most of all. Cats are one thing that Dolly can absolutely live without but belly rubs are a necessity! An added bonus, Dolly shows great promise of being already housebroken. At 40 lbs., Dolly should fit into your family just right! Come spend some time and try Dolly on for size!

If you want to know more about Dolly Becks and to speak to an Adoption Counselor, please complete an adoption application at www.furkids.org. Dolly Beck has been fully sponsored so her adoption fee is $0.
