COBB COUNTY, GA — A 51-year-old man was taken to the hospital to treat serious injuries after being involved in a car accident on Powder Springs Road at Kimberly Drive on Sunday.Jeffrey D. Lincoln of Dallas, Georgia was driving south on Powder Springs Road at a high speed when he lost control of the Chevrolet Corvette around 3 p.m., said Cobb County Police. The driver crossed into the northbound lanes. The Chevrolet collided with a silver 2011 Toyota RAV4. Maria A. Pineda-Chacon, 49, of Marietta was behind the wheel. She was transported to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The collision remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the Cobb County Police Department at 770-499-3987.
