Smith-Gilbert Gardens Junior Gardeners - "Farm Life in the 1880's"

Find out what it was like to live on a farm without electricity and running water. Spinning, churning and a few other life skills will be covered. We will explore a world without MP3 players or computers and learn about work songs and “play-pretties”.

Junior Gardeners Programs at Smith-Gilbert Gardens are designed for ages 5-12 years of age during Cobb County School vacations. These programs can also be scheduled by groups of 10 or more at other times.  Fees are $5/child, for ages 5-12. Reservations and $50 deposit are required to hold space for your group. Reservations are required. Classes begin at 10:00 AM or by group appointment.
