Executive functioning skills are the “hidden curriculum” in school and life. These skills include the ability to follow directions, prioritize time and tasks, manage and organize time, space and emotions, and develop the social skills that allow us to enjoy being part of groups or relationships. For most of us, these skills develop naturally, but for many children, they will need extra time, help and attention. This highly-unique and extremely practical workshop will help parents learn to understand, advocate for, assist in the development of these critical skills! Lots of hands-on learning opportunities!
Workshop will be taught by Lori Benson Adams, M.Ed., Owner of Breakthrough Learning Solutions. She brings over 30 years of personal and professional experience working with families and children with unique learning needs.
