Four Cobb County Men Arrested in Child Sex Trafficking Operation
Operation Watchful Guardians was a joint op between Georgia and Tennessee law enforcement agencies.

Four Cobb County men were arrested last week during a child sex trafficking sting that was jointly operated by Georgia and Tennessee law enforcement agencies.
A total of 35 people were arrested during Operation Watchful Guardians. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, along with police from Whitfield County, GA, Dalton, GA, Chattanooga, TN, and the Georgia and Tennessee Internet Crimes Against Children task forces, conducted the operation.
Arrested were Kekuta Jatta, 20, of Smyrna; Albert Stafford, 43, of Acworth; Javier Lopez, 23, of Marietta; and Nathan Murawski, 36, of Marietta.

Operation Watchful Guardians was conducted over a three day period beginning Feb. 2, 2016, and was centered in Dalton, GA and Chattanooga, TN.
The arrestees, ranging in age from 19 to 43, traveled primarily from areas around Dalton and Chattanooga, but some from as far as Gwinnett County with the intent to meet a child for sex. Some of those who were arrested had agreed to pay to have sex with the child. One person was arrested with a gun and a butcher knife. Some of their occupations included students, sales associates, tree cutters, and truck drivers.
