I Have A Dream—A Gospel Musical

The timeless production of I Have A Dream, written by Josh Greenfeld, will provide a local platform for Life University’s new found Theatre Program run by Artistic Director Herman LeVern Jones.  

Life University’s (the world's leading chiropractic educational institution) Diversity Committee is sponsoring this first production for Black History Month. 

This show will star Atlanta’s own Samuel Nathan as (Martin) from Off Broadway’s “MADAM”.  The co-stars in this production are Seth Warner (President of Life U Player Theatre Ensemble), LaToya Forman (Off Broadways “MADAM”), World Renowned Director Herman LeVern Jones and many others.  

This production will begin on Wednesday, Feb. 22 at Life University and run through Sunday, Feb. 26. Show times and dates are as follows:

Wednesday, Feb. 22 at 7 p.m.
Thursday, Feb. 23 at 7 p.m.
Friday, Feb. 24 at 8 p.m.
Saturday, Feb. 25 at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Sunday, Feb. 26 at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.

"I Have A Dream" is a theatrical production that toured for many years around the world both on Broadway and off Broadway.  This work appeared on Broadway at the Ambassador Theatre in New York City from September 1976 until December 1976 starring Billy Dee Williams.  

This original work then toured for several years with Broadway Producer and Director Woodie King, Jr.’s National Black Touring Circuit from 1985 to 2002, of which Herman LeVern Jones served as Associate Producer, Actor, and Company Manager. 

 The play “I Have A Dream” is a musical based production based on the words on our international icon Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  The era of this production takes place in the Southeastern part of the USA from 1955 to 1968.
