Marietta Bank Robbed Thursday Morning
Police have released surveillance photos of the suspect.
MARIETTA, GA -- The Fifth Third Bank on Roswell Road was robbed Thursday morning, and police have released surveillance photos of a suspect wanted in connection with the robbery.
According to police, a man entered the bank and demanded money from a teller, who gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash and placed it in a black bag. The man then fled the area on foot.
The suspect is described as a white male, in his late 30s to early 40s, with brown hair and a beard. He was wearing a brown jacket over a tan collared shirt, blue jeans and brown or black gloves. He was also wearing sunglasses, a tan hat (possibly bearing the South Carolina state emblem) and white tennis shoes. He was armed with a handgun, which he produced when demanding money.
