Marietta Bank Robber Strikes Again
BB&T Bank was robbed on Wednesday by the same man that police believe has robbed two other Marietta banks.
MARIETTA, GA -- The BB&T Bank in Marietta was robbed on Wednesday by the same man that police believe is behind two other local bank robberies.
Police say the man fled with an undisclosed amount of cash around 2 pm on May 25 from the BB&T, located 4370 Roswell Road.
Police believe the suspect also robbed the Fifth Third Bank on Feb. 4, 2016, and Regions Bank on April 1, 2016.

The man is described as a white male, 6 feet tall, in his early 40s and average build. He has short brown hair and a full beard. He was wearing a dark-colored collared shirt and black pants. He was also wearing a white baseball cap and sunglasses.
The suspect was armed with a small black handgun during Wednesday's robbery, which he carried into the bank in a black carrying case.

There were no injuries during the crime and anyone with information about it is asked to contact the Cobb County Police Department Crimes Against Persons Unit at (770) 499-3945.
