Marietta High School Hosting Virtual Prom Saturday Night
Marietta High School is hosting a virtual "Roaring 20s" prom, complete with DJ, for students to attend from home Saturday night.
MARIETTA, GA – While Marietta High School students had been looking forward to attending their Great Gatsby-themed prom in person Saturday night, the school is offering a social distancing-friendly alternative to help them celebrate at home.
The high school will be hosting a virtual "Roaring 20s" prom Saturday night from 7:30 - 9 p.m. Marietta High School alumnus DJ Ricky Moss will be at the high school – alone – streaming his set for all students to watch. He will be taking song requests through social media throughout his set.
Students are encouraged to get dressed up, organize virtual parties and take photos to be shared on Instagram with the hashtag #MHSVirutalProm.
