Marietta Student Culinary Team Places
The Marietta High School team placed fourth in a competition against 14 other schools. Instructor Chef Ginger Pratt was named the recipient of the Georgia Restaurant Educator Excellence Award.
The ProStart culinary team put on their chef hats and went to work, competing against 14 other high school teams at the annual Georgia ProStart Competition.
Sarah Bernknopf, Kadijah Brookes, Sarah Dickerson, Ashley Laster and Kelsey Miller placed fourth in the competition held March 23.
MHS Culinary arts teacher Chef Ginger Pratt is the 2012 recipient of the Georgia Restaurant Educator Excellence Award. Pratt will receive the award at the National Restaurant Association convention, compliments of the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation.
