Patch: Where did you get the name from?
Smith: My pet from college was nicknamed doodlebugz.
Patch: What sets your shop apart from others of its kind?
Smith: We try really hard to find artist and lines that you can't find in every gift store that you go into. We go to markets in other parts of the country to ensure that we are getting fresh new artists from the different areas.
Patch: How, if at all, has the business changed since you opened it?
Smith: doodlebugz is constantly changing. We are always retiring lines and bringing in new lines to keep things changing. We think change is good.
Patch: What is the hardest part of being a Marietta Square business?
Smith: The hardest part is not being in a mall setting with ample parking. We try to encourage people to park in the parking decks. They only cost $3 for the entire day, and they don't have to worry about running to move their car or rush their lunch.
Patch: What is the best part of being a business on the Square?
Smith: I love the constant change of people. We get a lot of tourists so we are constantly meeting new people and hearing their stories.

Smith: I love our embroidered Atlanta pillows.
Patch: Is there anything else that you want readers to know about you and your shop?
Smith: We are friendly, we have great customer service, we will gift wrap your purchases for free and we love to talk to our customers.
