Marietta Teacher at Educator Open House this Weekend
Marietta homeschool educator Camie Schade visits the World of Coca-Cola with her husband for the annual Educator Open House on Sept. 20.
Going back to school doesn’t have to mean that summer fun is over. Marietta homeschool educator Camie Schade discovered that on Sept. 20 as she visited the Educator Open House hosted by the World of Coca-Cola, Georgia Aquarium and the National Center for Civil and Human Rights. At the Open House, educators from across Georgia received complimentary admission to learn more about the attractions’ educational features and field trip opportunities.
At the World of Coca-Cola, Georgia teachers can fulfill hundreds of Common Core Standards in areas like social studies and English/language arts with the World of Coca-Cola’s Teacher Toolkits (http://www.worldofcoca-cola.com/teacher-toolkit/). The attraction also hosts hundreds of field trips a year.
