Marietta Woman Killed After Jumping From SUV

MARIETTA, GA -- A 24-year-old Marietta woman was killed after she jumped from a car shortly after midnight on Saturday.

Police say Brenda G. Arreguin exited a black, 2003 Chevy Tahoe that was being driven by Francisco Maldonado, 19, also of Marietta. The SUV was traveling south on Bridgehampton Road near Elkhart Circle when Arreguin opened the front passenger door and jumped.

Arreguin was transported by ambulance to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital but was pronounced deceased.
