Marietta's Jackson Allen Wins German Language Competition
Marietta resident Jackson Allen, a junior at The Walker School, won first prize in a recent German Language competition.

Marietta resident Jackson Allen, a 17-year-old AP German student from The Walker School, was awarded first prize at his level for a competition held in conjunction with the celebration of the European Day of Languages at the Goethe Zentrum and Alliance Française in Atlanta. The competition aims to foster the promotion of foreign language learning across cultures and to play an active advocacy role for the purpose of raising awareness of the importance of foreign language learning in a global society.
