MHS Principal Selected for 2014 Class of Honorary Commanders Association

Marietta High School Principal Leigh Colburn was selected for the 2014 Class of the Honorary Commanders Association.

The 2014 Honorary Commanders Class will consist of 26 military commanders from the National Guard, Air Force, Army, Navy and Marines, along with civilian counterparts who will serve for one year.

Military and civilian commanders will be partnered during this time. 

Honorary Commanders is a cooperative effort of the Cobb Chamber of Commerce, Dobbins Air Reserve Base (ARB), General Lucius D. Clay National Guard Center, Navy and Marine Corps.

The Honorary Commanders Association annually selects community and business leaders and pairs them with military commanders in a yearlong program, giving those leaders the opportunity to learn more about local military activities, their impact on our economy and various aspects of the national defense system.
