Motorcycle Rider Killed In Cobb Crash With Porsche
The crash happened Wednesday evening at the intersection of Cobb Galleria Parkway and Akers Mill Road.

MARIETTA, GA — A 30-year-old man riding a motorcycle near Cobb Galleria Wednesday evening was killed when he was thrown from his bike in a crash with a woman driving a Porsche.
Cobb County Police say the collision happened at about 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Cobb Galleria Parkway and Akers Mill Road.
According to police, Peter Bullard, of Snellville, was riding his 2008 Suzuki motorcycle west on Akers Mill toward Cobb Galleria Parkway. The driver of the Porsche, 52-year-old Deborah Schleicher of Rockville, Md., turned into the intersection into the motorcycle's path, police say.

The bike struck her car, causing Bullard to be thrown onto the hood of the car and, then, into the roadway.

He was taken to Kennestone Hospital, where police say he died from his injuries. Schleicher was taken to Kennestone with minor injuries.
