Here are the top three stories in and around Marietta today:

  1. A new Veterans Affairs Clinic has opened in Marietta. The clinic is located at 1263 Cobb Parkway North. A variety of medical services are being offered at the new clinic. The 64,000-square-foot facility offers audiology, occupational therapy, dental, eye, and prosthetics services to veterans. This is Cobb County's fourth Veterans Affairs clinic.   2. The Marietta Police Department reports that four individuals were injured during a multi-vehicle crash on Monday afternoon. The crash occurred on Cobb Parkway at Canton Road Connector around 1:15 p.m. The four individuals were transported to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital for treatment. (Patch)
  3. The Cobb County School District is considering disciplinary action against a former Campbell High student who was allegedly found with a vape pen containing THC in a school bathroom last year. The student's expulsion has been overturned by the state and the student has since earned a GED diploma. The student has also moved out of Cobb County. (Subscription: AJC.com)
