Ohio Murder Suspect Arrested in Marietta

MARIETTA, GA -- A man wanted in connection with a Columbus, Ohio, murder was arrested Thursday night by Marietta police.

Shante Stevenson, 22, was arrested outside a Marietta apartment complex without incident.

Marietta police were advised by Columbus, Ohio, law enforcement personnel that Stevenson was thought to be in the vicinity of Hudson Road. Cobb County SWAT teams provided supported in Stevenson’s arrest.

Stevenson is the prime suspect in the Jan. 30, 2016, murder of a 55-year-old Columbus, Ohio, man.
