Some 8 and 9 year olds prove that you are never too young to make the most of your time giving back. During the summer, young players on the Oregon Park “Bears” 8U All-Stars Team, in Cobb County, held a car wash and raised a whopping $708.01. And, the best part is, they decided to donate all of the money to charity.

The hard-working players and the coaches were delighted to present the “big” check to Pam Younker, CHOA Community Outreach Liaison. Oregon Park President, Todd Blosser, was also present to congratulate the entire team on their accomplishments for the season. The Bears ended the season in 2nd Place in the 2014 All-Stars World Series held in Douglasville, but they are definitely First Place Winners when it comes to being young humanitarians. Go Bears!
