Pedestrian Killed While Crossing Marietta Road Sunday Night

MARIETTA, GA — A woman crossing Cobb Parkway South near AMF Bowling was struck by a vehicle and died Sunday night.

Marietta police say Kelly Willis, 50, was pronounced dead on the scene.

Police say Willis was struck while crossing outside of a designated sidewalk and walked into the lane of the vehicle that struck her.

Police are continuing to investigate, but no charges have yet been filed.
