PIKES FROM KENNESAW STATE HOSTS 2ND ANNUAL FOUNDER’S DAY 5K
KENNESAW, GA – On March 7, 2015, Kennesaw State University’s Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity will conducting its annual 5k run/walk. This event will raise money for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation-Georgia Chapter in honor of the chapter’s late brother, Carter Haines.
The race will start and finish at the Kennesaw State University’s Sports and Recreational Sports Facility in Kennesaw, GA. Registration Starts at 7:00 a.m. and race to begin at 8:00 a.m., rain or shine. The tax-deductible registration fee is $25 for all participants.
All participants will receive a t-shirt, a race bag, and a biscuit from Chick-fila (Barrett Pkwy/Town Center). All fitness levels welcome! This event is designed for the whole family to enjoy!

Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation is a non-profit organization that relies on generous philanthropic and volunteer support. It is also the first non-profit organization in the United States to focus on the brain tumor disease. Their mission is to provide financial assistance, social support, and information for families of children with brain and spinal cord tumors; fund research projects that improve treatment options and search for a cure; and raise public awareness of the disease and advocate on behalf of children who are affected.
