Public Input Needed From Cobb Community At Feb. 3 Meeting
The public meeting in Cobb County will identify community needs and discuss how a HUD grant will address some of those issues.
COBB COUNTY, GA — A series of community meetings to discuss Cobb County’s development plans will kick off Monday, Feb. 3. One topic is the county’s Five-Year Plan. All are invited to provide public input for community development and fair housing needs in Cobb.
From 2- 4 p.m. at Zion Keepers, 324 Victory Drive, SE, Marietta, Cobb County officials will host the first public meeting. They will discuss the following:
The 2020 Analysis of Impediments, which will identify barriers to equal access to housing and propose strategies to overcome those impediments.

The Five-Year Consolidated Plan, which identifies community needs and provides a five-year strategy for how HUD grant funds will be used to develop community resources that address those needs.
The Annual Action Plan will address specific needs during the 2021 program year. There will be seven additional meetings in February.
