Remains of Missing Cobb Man Found in Calhoun

Roy G. Brown had been missing since Christmas Eve.

CALHOUN, GA -- The remains of a Cobb County man who had been missing since Christmas Eve have been found in Calhoun.

The crime lab of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation has identified the remains as Roy G. Brown, according to WRGA.

Brown’s body was found behind the GB&T Bank last Friday. On Jan. 2, Brown’s vehicle was found in the parking lot of the Calhoun Rite Aid.

Brown was last seen around 3:30 am on Dec. 24. A friend had spoken to him by phone about a half hour earlier.

No word yet on Brown’s cause of death.
