Roswell Architecture Firm to Host 4th Annual Creative Mill Art Exposition

The Creative Mill Art Exposition Returns for a fourth year!

As part of their 20th anniversary celebration in 2013, Randall-Paulson Architects decided to open their doors to friends, family, clients, and the public for an art show featuring staff and local artists called The Creative Mill Art Exposition. Inspired by National Arts and Humanities Month as well as this major mile stone in their business, Randall-Paulson was the first creative business to sign up to host a NAHM event that year and featured 20 employees and local artists.

In 2014, RPA decided to host the event again and held the art show the same week in October for NAHM. By this time, the show had expanded to over 30 participants – including employees and local artists. The Creative Mill was also a featured stop on the art walk for the Roswell Arts District’s First Friday Art Walk.

2015 set a record for participation with almost 50 artists.

In just a few weeks, RPA will host the 4th annual Creative Mill Art Exposition. The event has tripled in size featuring over 50 artists. We will once again be on the First Friday Art Walk in October. The event will run from October 6th through October 7th. Pieces displayed range from paintings, photography, drawings to pottery, turned wood pieces, and other creations by over 50 local artist and staff members.

Show hours are Thursday, October 6, 5-9 PM, and Friday, October 7, 5-9 PM.

In order to prepare for the show this year, employees of RPA have been given the opportunity to spend time in Creative Mill Workshops that the firm hosts once a month. Here, the artists have the opportunity to work around other artists and have feedback and critiques at their fingertips.

This year, The Creative Mill has a brand new website to allow for more information and to be able to see images from the previous shows and behind the scenes photos!

Visit the new site starting Friday, September 16th at www.creativemillexpo.com.
