Shots Fired At Marietta Police During Attempted Gun Store Robbery

Four people have been arrested in the incident early Tuesday morning. No police were injured.

MARIETTA, GA — Shots were fired at Marietta police officers early Tuesday morning during an attempted break-in at a Marietta gun store.

Police say four people are in custody, and officers spent several several tense minutes making sure there were no one else in the store before making before making entry.

When police arrived on scene, they identified two suspects inside the store, and one on top of the building. One of the suspects fired on the officers, and police returned fire. No one was injured in the exchange of gunfire, and a fourth person has been taken into custody.
