Ethics Panel In 'Racist Pig' Case To Meet This Week
A Gwinnett County ethics panel investigating a commissioner who called a civil rights icon a "racist pig" is set to hold its first meeting this week. The group will consider whether the actions of Commissioner Tommy Hunter, who used his personal Facebook page to call U.S. Rep. John Lewis a "racist pig" and hurl insults at others, including Democrats, amounted to a violation of the county's ethics rules.

GBI Touts New App To Report Missing Children, Abuse
A new mobile app is being used to help report missing children and abuse, state law enforcement officials announced Tuesday. The "GaCFR app" is the brainchild of several agencies, including the Georgia Child Fatality Review Program, which investigates all suspicious, sleep-related death of minors in the state.

Parents File Complaint Over Racist Snapchat Post At North Cobb High
Weeks after a social media post threatening African-Americans caused a firestorm at North Cobb High School, a Cobb County group is seeking to file a criminal complaint against the student who allegedly wrote it, Patch has learned. In early March, a screenshot of a Snapchat message that made racist and vile threats against blacks, including the desire to "exterminate" them, began to circulate among parents of students at the Cobb school.
