Summer Greetings for Seniors
This summer, Cobb County 4-Hers made 100 greeting cards for Senior Services as a community service.

100 summer greeting cards made by children from all over the county are headed to Cobb Senior Services! This is part of the “Every Hero Has a Story!” Cobb Library Summer program. Children from Rainbow Housing at Caswyck Trail Apartments and Ron Anderson Summer Camp also contributed to this county-wide community service project. The Cobb 4-H summer program was “Hero Up!”, and it taught children the importance of being strong in “Head, Heart, Hands, and Health” because they never know when they might be called to be a hero. “Hands” in 4-H represents community service, and our super kids in Cobb County shared their time and talent by making greeting cards to share with Senior Services. The children did a wonderful job with this community service!
