Walker School Musical Earns Shuler Nod

The Walker student production "Xanadu" is nominated for the Georgia high school Tonys.

The Xanadu is among the high school musical productions recognized in Monday’s nominations for the annual Shuler Hensley Awards.

Xanadu, which had its run in February, is nominated for costume design, light design and orchestra. It also received honorable mention for technical execution.

Xanadu was a flop as an Olivia Newton John movie in the 1980s, but this production made a believer of blogger W. Scott Smoot, for one. You can see show photos here.
