Family, friends and Atlanta luminaries come out in force to remember Atlanta sports media icon.
MARIETTA, GA -- Renowned sports broadcaster Craig Sager was memorialized Tuesday morning at Mount Bethel United Methodist Church.
Sports media luminaries from Atlanta and beyond packed the church at Lower Roswell Road in Marietta as video presentations of Sager's life with his family kicked off the event. Some of his children, including Craig Jr., Kacy and Krista, spoke as well.
"There was never a plan with dad. He just wanted to make every day the best he could," Krista said. "If something sounded fun, we didn't discuss it. We just did."
