Sinclair Oconee Agency LLC Earns Make More Happen™ Award for Supporting Neighbors in Need

Supporters Can Help Unlock a $10,000 Donation by Voting for Their Agency Giving Story

Liberty Mutual Insurance has awarded Sinclair Oconee Agency LLC a 2026 Make More Happen™ Award for its dedication to meeting neighbors’ needs for food, clothing and repairs through its support of Brighter Days Ministry. The award includes a $5,000 donation, which can be doubled to $10,000 through online community support.

The Sinclair Oconee Agency LLC’s story is featured on the official Make More Happen microsite, https://www.agentgiving.com/sinclair-oconee-agency, where supporters can vote to help unlock the full $10,000 donation. If the story receives at least 750 combined votes and comments, the $5,000 award will be doubled. A $10,000 Make More Happen Award would help fund a client-choice food pantry where neighbors can shop for what they actually need, plus a free clothing boutique and washer and dryer for families getting back on their feet.

The mission of Brighter Days is simple: meet neighbors wherever they are, with a helping hand and genuine care. Brighter Days volunteers provide free services like cutting grass, building wheelchair ramps, cleaning highways, and painting homes for families who need it, pairing the work with lunches and games for kids in the neighborhood. The organization also helps single parents furnish new starts, supports families who’ve lost everything in a fire, and provides medical equipment like wheelchairs and lift chairs. Turner’s network has helped broaden the impact by connecting Brighter Days with a builder willing to donate surplus materials, which is helping construct a brand-new food pantry in Milledgeville.

For the Sinclair Oconee Agency team, the impact of their work is helping make the pantry a one-stop shop filled with hope and dignity, with extended afternoon hours intended to help working neighbors access support after their shifts end.

Throughout 2026, Liberty Mutual Insurance will select up to 36 independent agencies nationwide for a Make More Happen Award, donating up to $360,000 to nonprofits they support. Agencies become eligible for the award by submitting applications that highlight their commitment to a specific cause.
