• Breaking: Monroe man seriously injured in electric bike collision with a vehicle Saturday morning (monroelocal.org) — A Monroe man suffered serious injuries Saturday morning after his electric bike collided with a car at the intersection of West Spring Street and Georgia Highway 138 in Monroe. Georgia State Patrol says the cyclist allegedly failed to yield while turning left, and the investigation remains ongoing with no charges filed yet. 
• Historic season ends for Sherwood in GIAA Final Four (albanyherald.com) — Sherwood Christian's historic volleyball season ended in Monroe, where they fell in straight sets to top-seeded Valwood during the GIAA Class AA Final Four at George Walton Academy. Despite the loss, the team celebrated a 20-win season, a first-ever Final Four appearance, and a senior class that helped elevate the program.
