Sheriff's Calls: 'My Drug Dealer Stole My Car'

CRIME AWARENESS/COMMUNITY INFORMATION ALERT

Activity date: December 15, 2014 – December 16, 2014

Zone 1
Extra Patrol – Subjects were observed in the backyard of a residence on Davan Lane.

Suspicious Activity – A subject, on Lakeshore Court in the Lakeshore Estates, reportedly heard a voice inside her residence. Walton County deputies checked the residence and nothing was found suspicious.

Entering Auto – A laptop was taken from an unlocked work vehicle parked at a residence on McKayla Court.

Zone 2
Arrest – Courtney Robinson was arrested at Goodyear Tire in reference to an outstanding warrant.

Zone 3
Suspicious Person – Unknown persons were observed ringing the doorbell at a residence on Gene Bell Rd. then running away.

Zone 4
Nothing to report.

Zone 5
Theft – An air conditioner unit was taken from a residence on Sandra Way.

Extra Patrol – Several vehicles were reportedly parked at a residence on Bullock Lane. Extra patrol was requested.

Arrest – David Steward Jr. was arrested for Simple Battery on Nicholsville Rd. in reference to a family dispute.

Trespassing – Several juveniles were observed riding on a vacant property on Hwy 78 and Troy Smith Rd. Walton County deputies found the subjects and issued a verbal warning.

Zone 6
Safety Checkpoint – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Hwy. 81 at Karlee Blvd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. No arrests were made.

Stolen Vehicle – A vehicle was taken from a residence on Atlanta Hwy. The vehicle description is a 1979 Z71 Camaro.

Zone 7
Safety Checkpoint – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Broadnax Mill Rd. at Youth Monroe Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. No arrests were made.

Stolen Vehicle – A subject reported that his drug dealer took his vehicle and had not returned it. The vehicle was described as a Ford Edge, green in color.

Theft – A four-wheeler was reportedly taken from a residence on Wagon Trail.
